Of Two Minds

Two Minds of The Two Wolves
Based on a Cherokee Indian legend

A fight is going on inside you
A terrible fight between two wolves
Growling in polarity
The evil one spits out
Anger, self-pity, guilt, fear, victimhood
While the good wolf speaks of peace, love, hope, truth, gratitude and faith.

Which wolf will win?
The old Cherokee replied: “The one you feed”.

it appears you mind feeds negative thoughts about relationships. It tells you to fear lovers, keep clear of them, push them away, because they could hurt you. Your thinking about being a victim make you a victim. You are always in pain. Notice how your thoughts are your own worst enemy – Redirect your negative thoughts to more positive ones. You have the power of choice! Cultivate love instead of fear towards your lovers and be grateful for the lessons that they might offer you.

The Donkey’s Fate

A donkey fell into a well
Unable to get the donkey out
The farmer began to shovel
Bit by bit
Shovels of dirt fell into the well

The donkey shivered and shook
Afraid of death
But with each tremble and shake
The dirt fell down
Raising the ground
Taking his steps
Over and over
Shaking it off and stepping up
Until he reached the top of the well
And stepped over the edge.

Every shovel of dirt
That might have buried the donkey
Served to help him live.
If the donkey had stayed in a negative state
He might not have seen the opportunity
To turn the negative into the positive
Which saved his life.

“Believing in negative thoughts is the single greatest obstruction to success.”
